Kimono Session!

First off, today is my parent's wedding anniversary. For the occasion, I had to recharge my Brastel card so that I could call them.

Last Wednesday, me, Ker Wee, Pranamita and Derya went out to eat lunch since we didn't have afternoon class! We went to a Japanese restaurant relatively near our dormitory.

As usual, I was more hungry than patient so I had already eaten some of the food before I remembered to take a picture. I order pork (*gasp* meat) with onions and salad. They also served on the table a pickled vegetable that I REALLY liked so much, I kept on eating it with my rice! Sorry the picture doesn't look that appetizing!

Last Thursday, we had a Kimono session. It was very fun! Unfortunately for me, the Kimono I got, according to the ladies that assisted us, was a father's kimono or grandfather's おじさん or おじいさん。 To complete the outfit, I was also given getas (げた)to wear. After everyone had their kimonos on, we were encouraged to go and walk around campus. We even went outside campus. Obviously, people stopped and stared at us. Some even asked us who we were. hehe! Such fun!
