Last Friday, Tanaka-sensei treated everyone to Mister Donuts Japanese style! Very interesting. If you look at the picture, it looks like a dry biscuit, but was actually tasty and moist!
Toad would have guessed what flavor I chose!
Plain! hehe! There was chocolate, chocolate glazed and plain! It noticed that everytime I eat sugar, I immediately warm up, almost becoming hyper! So I chose plain! hehe!
On another note, Natsuka brought another interesting おかしい. Johann was looking for unusual packaging. This looks like one!
It is red bean jelly with a chestnut and in the past placed in a bamboo, but given that bamboo cannot protect food from germs efficiently, they resorted to packing in in a plastic case shaped like a bamboo! Interesting!
I think the name is Azumi, or something! I got to write these things down!
Just an update on the Manga I have:
華中華（ハナチャハン）- all about cooking fried rice!
おかわり飯蔵（はんぞう）- one of my current faves! has recipes in it!
キングスウキーツ(King of Sweets of the Universe) - dessert manga!
喰いダン(Case Files of the Gourmand Detective) - also my fave, about a detective who solves mysteries while eating. Reminds me of Jughead!
To answer Toad's comment on the Kimono, I am not sure as well. It is probably the material since the other's material is made of silk, while mine is a rough fabric. Also the design, but I'm not too sure!

Well, it is good to be discerning despite the tempting bargains. ^_^
The faux bamboo containers look cute. There's even a little notch so it's not perfectly round. hehe
Those cooking manga sound interesting. There's lots of live j-doramas also centered on cooking, btw. =)
