Aside from these, I offered to help two Japanese MA students with their English every Tuesdays. Not really troublesome, I'm thinking of it more as language exchange and I get new friends. Also, I got Hayley's arubaito which is one every month, I teach senior citizens english. The pay is good considering I only go for 2 hours.
This is how busy I am....I always forget to take pictures of my food! This is the only picture I remembered taking. Japan has a curious custom, if you lend tupperware to people, when they return it, they have to put something in it. I gave some puto in tupperware to my host mom, and she made me these cute rabbit mocchi!
On another note, I'll be teaching Philippine recipes to a cooking club here in Kunitachi. My line up will include, Chicken Adobo, Abodo flakes, Sapin-sapin and tsokolate. The only "exotic" thing here would be tsokolate, but my idea is to introduce Philippine food to the Japanese, hopefully they'll cook it and will like it!
On the stupid note, I recently had a funny and stupid accident. It was raining and I was going down to pick up my mail. I wasn't in a rush, but when I went down the stairs, I slipped and fell. (As in slipped, slippers tossing in the air "slipped") Tumbled down and met with a somewhat startled Postal worker. The only thing she could say to me was 「落ちた?」(You fell?). I frickin Arse was hurting like crazy....but everything seemed okay...went to the clinic to have my body checked. Thankfully nothing was wrong. I just had to expose my butt and explain the incident to the nurse. Wheee....haha!
