This week has been okay. But not much has happened. I read in Church again. But was probably a bit cocky, so ended up making a number of mistakes in the reading. Oh well! After mass, I was supposed to go out with Rosby, but he had to go somewhere. Hence with nothing to do, I decided to treat myself to lunch. There was an Asian restaurant near the supermarket I go to in Yotsuya. I ordered Pho (which is pronounced as Fu or ふ) Of course I didn't know how to eat it! haha! There was a spicy paste which I correctly added to the soup. Although I added too much, making my soup spicy. Too spicy. haha! There was soysauce which I have no idea, where to put. Even Bak-san was surprised with the soy sauce. I also didn't know when to eat the rice, hence, decided to eat it after, to wash the spiciness off my lips! Lai, you ate Pho right?
In class, Matsuda-sensei gave us Sweet Potato!I liked it. Although it was plain. Unfortunately (or fortunately for me) I was the only one in class who liked it. Hence I got more from Pranamita and Simone! I plan to bake bread for the class! :)On another note, I went to the Flea market near Yaho Station here in Kunitachi. It was pretty sparse, hence I ended up not buying anything. But I then decided to treat myself for lunch, by eating at a Cafe run entirely by Hitotsubashi University Students. This was introduced to me by Yokota-sensei. It was nice and quaint! However it reminded me of Enconium (the restaurant ran by Kristine at FBR below CCHQ). The people were warm and most of the customers are regulars who know how slow the service is. I ordered vegetable dry curry, which was delicious, unfortunately, my battery ran out, hence no pictures. Dang. Most of the customers were understanding about the waiting period, even for their coffee. But some newcommers opted to leave without being served. Oh well! My food was nice, but it is the type of place you can't bring your friends to, since if they are really hungry and impatient, they might cause a scene or something. oh well!
