A meal mother would be Happy with

Last Sunday, I treated Rosby to Lunch and went around Shinjuku with him. We ate in "Standard Burger" which was interesting. I'm not really a burger connoiseur (dunno if I spelled it right) but it tasted good. I ordered a Chili Burger. I know, it is very un-Japanese, but Rokba was late (Toad and Nowd would know) and we ended up eating lunch at 2.

On Monday, we had a pseudo-floor meeting. But we ate out to a Chinese restaurant near the dorm. It was a classy place. By Classy I mean expensive. Anyway, we started with the usual appetizers. It was followed by HUGE gyoza!!! Check it out! Next was a salad with chicken and peanut sauce. I think Nowd and Toad would have loved it! Next course was spicy shrimp. as in a HUGE shrimp. Not spicy for my taste, but still good. Katya and Tin would like it! The second to the last meal was fried rice. At least now I've tasted excellent fried rice. It was oily but not too oily. (And no cracks about every grain coated perfectly with egg, haha) The flavor of the oil permeated every grain, plus the other ingredients did not overwhelm each other. I tasted everything. haha! There was also a HUGE sea bass, which was steamed. The last was yakisoba.

I also bought a pretty bento from Wakayana, near the West Campus. It was tooo pretty to merit a picture. haha! On another note, I just finished my 6 months of language training with a ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, we decided to go to a bar. I had a lemon sour (which is just lemon soda with alcohol). Unfortunately I had too many beers as well, ending a bit drunk and didn't join the gang to Karaoke. Which is good since I still had my 2 part-time jobs the next day. But the hilarious thing about this Sakaya (酒屋)or bar was an item in their menu called 秘密メニュ or secret menu. My curiousity overwhelmed me and I ordered it. For this day with was fried fish with a dip of potato and mayonnaise or something. haha! Makes eating there exciting!

On the very last day of class, the senseis feed us a lot!
