I'm an Uncle!!!!

My sister just gave birth to a son yesterday morning. I'm a bit disappointed to be not there, since Baby Seth is our first "nephew" for the family. Oh well, I'll just wait for the pictures! :)

I'm feeling a bit under the weather lately, not sure what it is though. I'm just resting and taking biogesic. Nothing serious though.

I felt more bad, since I did sooo badly in my grammar test. I misread the instructions for one part so everything was done wrong. I consoled myself to this kakesoba from Asahidori. (What kakesoba is I had no idea. It turned out to be just plain soba. But the presentation is beautiful deshou?

Natsuka-san brought this interesting sweet. Inside is red bean, and the outer covering is supposed to be made out of black sugar. What black sugar is, I have no idea. Even Natsuka-san doesn't know. But the taste and texture feels like yema, but less sweet. VEERY less sweet which is good, in my opinion. hehe. Toad will probably roll his eyes with this comment.

I bought this bento from the coop because I wasn't feeling really well one day. And I didn't want to suffer the crowd of the Cafeteria. I was happy that they had takoyaki bento. (I know it is not the real thing, Khursten). It even had mayonnaise (which I know was bad for me, but I had to live a little) hehe.

Well, none of us were there, but we did keep in touch with sina Ditch via text. Seth is a Gemini, born in the year of the Fire Dog, in the Hour of the Dog (7:45pm). They were aiming for hour of the Monkey (so he would have some of your personality LOL ewwww) but 3 -5pm was too early. He is going to be a strong kid with a good personality. Dogs don't have any of the weirdness of the other signs. :P Very auspicious and ideal for an eldest son and eldest grandson. ^_^V

Take orange juice? Hope you feel better soon.

Bawi na lang sa next test. The presentation of the kakesoba was indeed beautiful. Did it taste good?

Is the black sugar molasses? Or very dark brown sugar? hehe

Feng Shui Master. LOL. I do not claim the knowledge as mine. It is all thanks to my idol, Theodora Lau, and her book, The Handbook of Chinese Horoscopes (special twenty-fifth anniversary edition). Unique and exclusive. hehehe j/k The years and years of searching for it was worth it.

*inserts ad spot* You can buy it at A Different Bookstore in Gateway...for the low-low price of...(checks tag) eep, the price sticker is GONE! O_O But I'm pretty sure it was affordable. ^_~V
