One of the few things my brother-in-law asked from me before was unusual Japanese packaging. I discovered through my 先生 a quaint おかしい shop near our train station. It's called Kinokuni-ya (different from Kinokuniya). Anyway, me, Pranamita and Natsuka-san went there. Natsuka-san said that this sweet is popular. So we bought!

typical of Japanese packaging. Pretty!

It looks like a jelly, but actually tastes like the filling of mochi. Not to sweet and not at all messy.

I didn't have time to make dinner so I contented myself to a cup of milo (Thanks CH!) and puto which I got from church (4 pcs for Y300, bit expensive)

I bought this bread at Kichijoji! Something-brot! Smelled sooo good!
