When the "blogging" was still new and people were making their own personal blogs here and there, I wasn't one of those people who wanted to join the band wagon.
I thought of blogging as a waste of my time. But why do I have my own? Now I realize it was necessary for a couple of reasons:
1. I'm leaving for Japan for a long time, hence this will help me keep in touch with friends and relatives.
2. My parents don't know how to use e-mail yet, and not wanting them to spend soo much money in calling me, this would be a cheaper solution.
3. I've always been a hypocrite. "I don't like that, but I secretly do."
At least these are what I can think of at the top of my head.
